The landscape changed a fair amount today. We have gone from very large farms to small towns with small farms.

Things went well until we missed each other in Nickerson. Then I got hit by a large, hard rain storm. I took cover in a school entrance. I finally was able to use the school Wi-Fi to talk to Kathie and found out she was in Heston about another 20 miles away. It was wet, but the rain had stopped by the time I was back on the road. Kathie was waiting for me in the Heston corporate parking lot. We had decided to stay the night there, when the water pump on the trailer would not shut off.

We found a truck stop in Newton that would work on trailers, but by the time we got there the shop was closed for the evening. We drove up the freeway and ran into a campground and it worked out great for us.
